Mother's Day Makeovers on Skid Row

   On Saturday May 12, 2018 we joined with the Red Eye Inc. organization and a few other companies to show some love and to honor over 180 mothers that reside on Skid Row for Mother's Day in Los Angeles , California.

   These women received reversible hoodies from Cottonhood, they also received full makeovers that included getting their hair done, nails polished, feet washed and massaged, along with receiving swag bags that were filled with tons of goodies. In addition, they were treated to cooked meals and they were also treated to a photoshoot in which they were able to keep their favorite portraits of themselves.

   On a day like this, it's not really what we could tangibly give out. Some of the mothers simply wanted volunteers to lend an ear and sit and hold a conversation with them. Some of the simple things in life that we might take for granted on a daily basis can be a treasure that will last a long time for someone in need.

   A huge thank you to Red Eye Inc. for sharing such a special day with us filled with opportunity, love, and compassion. It was quite a humbling and heart felt experience. We definitely were able to spread our brands message of Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Cottonhood and it was great to be able to spread love one hoodie at a time for a great cause.
